As the owner and medical director of A Touch of Energy Aesthetics in Cincinnati, Dr. Abraham Kuranga drives all operations at the city’s only holistic aesthetics and wellness center. In addition to managing the business, he provides patients with a range of minimally invasive procedures, including facial contouring, liposuction, and radiofrequency microneedling. Dr. Abraham Kuranga is also the director of the center’s weight loss program. He manages several additional professional roles, including medical director of Liberty Rehabilitation Hospital and other skilled nursing facilities in the Tri-State region.
His research has appeared in the International Journal of Respiratory Pulmonary Medicine and the Journal of Public Health. Dr. Abraham Kuranga has presented posters at major professional conferences, including the International Society of Exposure Science Annual Meeting. He maintains full admitting hospital privileges at both Cincinnati Rehabilitation Hospital and Glenwood Behavioral Hospital.
Dr. Kuranga studied at the Ross University School of Medicine in Miami. He holds undergraduate degrees in respiratory therapy and political science from Cincinnati State College and Miami University, respectively. He performed his residency at East Carolina University and Vidant Medical Center in North Carolina. In addition to his medical license, he is certified in basic life support.
